AIT has created for you an universal Wordpress template, which is accommodated for use in a wide variety of commercial websites and personal pages. The main feature of this template is the versatility, color variability and the ability to adapt it to their own needs without any major problems and less skilled programmer.
The template was designed by standard conception of classic websites. The template includes one homepage and one standardised sub page that can be configured by your web conception.

Custom Shortcodes
This theme has implemented shortcodes which makes creation of custom boxes a lot of easier. It is important to be in HTML mode when you are using shortcodes.

In administration on each page or post you have options to set your favourite slider.
Global Settings
Background and ThemeBox
Background of the whole website can be setup in CSS file CSS/scree.css. Website background can be a combination of three transparent images inserted into:
- HTML
- BODY
- DIV class="back"
Example bacgrounds are created that way that after screen.css we load one of CSS files from folder CSS/THEMES.
Themebox, that is available on our live preview can be turned off via WP admin panel, you can find the option here: Simplicius -> General Options -> Show themebox
General Options
Here you can setup global settings that will apply for all pages of your website.
WP admin: Simplicius - General Options
- Custom Logo: path to your logo image
- Main Content Color Variant: main website color, can be LIGHT or DARK
- Sidebar Color Variant: sidebar color - DEFAULT / WHITE / BLACK
- Slider Box Theme: color of the box that holds slider or static image. Can be - WHITE / BLACK
- Slider Description Theme: color of the Description underneath the slider or Static Image - LIGHT / DARK
- Footer theme: color of the footer box - WHITE / BLACK
- Footer text: HTML code on the very bottom. can be used for copyright message.
- Google Analytics Code: Google analytics ID, code will be inserted automatically to all pages
- Show themebox: Themebox should be show only on testing version of the website.
WP admin: Settings - General
- Site Title: main page title that can be shown in the website title and besides logo on the pages.
- Tagline:sub title that is shown in the website title and on the page underneath the main title
WP admin: Settings - Media
Here you can setup image dimensions that will be used if you load images into media library. It is recommended to set the dimensions to this values:
- Thumbnail size: 150x150px (Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions = YES)
- Medium size: 236x0px
- Medium size: 614x0px
- Maximum embed size: YES
- Maximum embed size: undefined x 600px
Menu Settings
There are also ways to customize the menu or show a special menu in the page footer. All settings can be found here: Appearance - Menus
Menu Creation
Firstly navigate to: Appearance - Menus and create new menu. Then choose items like pages, categories or custom links from the left column to add to this menu.
After you have added your items, drag and drop to put them in the order you want. You can also click each item to reveal additional configuration options.
When you have finished building your custom menu, make sure you click the Save Menu button.
At the end you have to select location for your menu. Find "Theme Locations" box and select location for your menu.

Main Menu Location
Here you can control pages that will be shown in the main top menu. Order of the pages is not taken from module Pages. (Order settings from Page module are used only for Submenu that is used in sidebar on the right hand side).
Footer Menu Location
Here you can control text links that will be shown in the footer.
Sidebar settings
Sidebar is shown on the right hand side if you select the right template: Pages - Edit Page - Page Attributes - Template = Default Template
Dimensions
Sidebar is 280px wide, but the usable part is 240px wide. Images in the sidebar have left and right border set to 2px, therefore standard width of image that can be used in the sidebar is 236px.
Color theme
Color theme of the sidebar is setup globally for all pages: General Options - Sidebar Color Variant: DEFAULT / WHITE / BLACK
Widget Boxes in Sidebar
We have extended a standard sidebar with several boxes that can be turned on or off as desired.
If you don't setup any parameters, the following boxes are turned on by default: Searchbox, Categories, Archives. The default setup will be turned off if you turn on one of boxes - for example Submenu and then the Searchbox, Categories and Archives will turn off.
These boxes can be setup in Pages - Edit Page - Sidebar Options where you can also setop their basic options.

Global Widget Boxes
You can of course load all standard WP widgets, these widgets will be visible on all pages where you have sidebar turned on. All these widgest can be setup in Appearance - Widgets - Sidebar Widget Area, where you can drag and drop your selected boxes and setup their parameters.
If you need to make any style amendments of global widgets, you can do it in CSS/screen.css file.
FOOTER BOX settings
Color of the footer box can be setup in Simplicius - General Options - Footer theme: BLACK / WHITE
Footer box by default turned on on all pages except Homepage. You can of course turt it on on homepage as well. If you don't want show footer box, simply don't put any wigets into it.
Widgetboxes that will show in the Footer box can be defined in Appearance - Widgets - 1, 2, 3, 4 Footer Widget Area where you can drag and drop widgets. If you need to style your widgets, you can do it in CSS/scree.css. The most used widgets are already styled for you.
HOMEPAGE settings
The following settings are for Homepage only. You can select which page will be your homepage here: Settings - Reading - Front page displays - A static page (select below) - Front Page: where you select your page from the list of created pages.
Simplicius - Homepage Options
Shortcodes Area: here is the best place to define boxes that will show on the homepage and won't be affected by Wordpress automatic formatting, because Wordpress wysiwyg editor is automatically adding P and BR tags.
Show Footer: YES / NO - you can decide whether to show a footer box on the homepage or not.
PAGES & POSTS Settings
You can edit it here: Pages - Edit Page / Posts - Edit Post
SubTitle: this text will be displayed in H1 of the page. For example "ABOUT my website" is composed from ABOUT - page title and "my website" - subtitle.
Sidebar options: here you can setup what to show in the sidebar:

Page Header Boxes: here you can setup styles and content of the boxes that will show in a header of the page underneath the slider or static image. Each box can have different style.
- Main settings: Page box header variant - we have created several boxes schemas how to show content boxes, for example to show 3 boxes with the same width you can use 1-1-1, if first two should have a width of 1/4 and the 3rd one a width of 2/4 you can use 1-1-2, etc.
- Body - HTML code of the box
- Style - color variant BLACK or WHITE
- Background - custom background
Page Slider Style: here you can select slider type you wish to use: NONE / IMAGE / NIVO SLIDER / KWICKS SLIDER
Page custom image options here you can setup static image that will be displayed on the page. You can setup title, description and also url. Color of the image box and description box can be set here: Simplicius - General Options. The width of description box is flexible dependent on the contents. If you want break line you need to use <br /> tag or set the fixed width on ".slider .description .text" CSS style in CSS/screen.css file. This will affect on description box in Nivo Slider, too.
- Image URL - image full path
- Image Title - main image title
- Image Description - image description (It will display when the Image Title is set only.)
- Image Link on click url
Page Kwicks Slider Options Settings for Kwicks Slider. Color of the slider box and description boxes can be set here: Simplicius - General Options. The number of pictures in this slider must be exactly 4.
- Page Kwicks Slider Sub Title main title that will show on the bottom of the slider
- Image URL - image full path
- Image Title - main image title
- Image Description - image description under Image Title.
- Image Link on click url
Page Nivo Slider Options settings for Nivo slider. Color of the slider box and description boxes can be set here: Simplicius - General Options. The width of description box is flexible dependent on the contents. If you want break line you need to use <br /> tag or set the fixed width on ".slider .description .text" CSS style in CSS/screen.css file. This will affect on description box in Static Image, too.
- Image URL - image full path
- Image Title - main image title
- Image Description - image description, it won't show if you won't also set an image title
- Short Image Description - image description that will show on the bottom of the slider. You need to use <strong> tag to set the large text in this description.
- Image Link on click url
Featured Image (on the right hand side of WP page setup)
This image will be used on several places in WP.
Page attributes
- Parent: you can select a parent page
- Template: you can select one of the following: DEFAULT with sidebar, ONE COLUMN PAGE without sidebar, CONTACT PAGE
- Order: order of pages in the submenu that is displayed in the sidebar

Contact page header contains predefined boxes in ration 1/3 and 2/3
- 1st Box Content: place for HTML code, you can put there company building picture etc.
- 1st Box Title: title underneath the box
- 1st Box Theme: box color, BLACK or WHITE can be used
- 2nd Box Content: you can place any HTML there, in our live preview we have used google map iframe
- 2nd Box Title: title underneath the box
